Do you remember those halcyon days of ‘AOR’ or 70’s light rock?, collecting your favourite sounds, songs and grooves from an era when music was just SO good?

These songs invoke memories like a sunset on the Santa Monica pier, riding along on a hot sunny day with your tunes blasting on the 8-track or cassette and the smell of those hot leather seats. Yacht Rock is soulful, well-constructed music that just makes people happy so bring your gal or guy along, and grab your friends and enjoy this banquet of amazing laidback tunes of yesteryear.

Featuring an eight piece band, with saxophone, percussionists, virtuoso guitarists and World Class singers, expect to be blown away by the sheer musicianship, vocals and harmonies, stunning production with video and lighting from some of best Cats around with THE SMOOTH ROCK SHOW.

Our expert guides will reveal the story of Stafford’s magical venue from its beginnings as the historic Borough Hall right up to the modern day.

There’s a chance to see the dressing rooms, hear about how shows are put together, the stars that have played here and take a peek at our famous Green Room window wall and its dozens of famous autographs.

You might even get to meet some of our residents ghosts!

Places are limited to 10 and the tour involves some stairs so please bear this in mind when booking.

Fireman Sam: The Great Camping Adventure

Move Over Mrs Markham

Philip Markham, a publisher of children’s books, is asked by his business partner, Henry Lodge, if he can borrow the flat for the evening to gallivant with his latest girlfriend. As Philip and his wife will be out, he reluctantly agrees.

At the same time, Joanna Markham is being persuaded by Linda Lodge to let her borrow the empty flat in order to entertain her lover. With some misgivings, Joanna agrees. What nobody knows is that the interior designer who has been decorating the flat for the past three months has decided that this is the night that he and the au pair girl will try out the new oval bed.

When the Markhams’ evening out is cancelled, it is too late to let any of the parties know and three sets of hopeful lovers all converge on the bedroom at the same time. The situation is further complicated by the arrival of Olive Harriet Smythe, a straightlaced authoress of children’s books.

The frantic efforts of the Markhams to hide the amorous goings-on and, at the same time sign up Miss Smythe, lead to a hectic and hilarious evening.
