Fluff

TICKETS NOW JUST £10.00 (£9.00 Concessions)

It’s time for Fluff to do the ultimate puzzle… her life.

But Fluff hates puzzles; especially word searches. She can never find the words and doesn’t understand why there’s a half eaten birthday cake and a woman who keeps visiting her room. As she navigates her way through her most treasured and darkest memories, Fluff desperately needs to piece together her life; story by story, person by person. This darkly comedic play explores memories and the choices we make in life.

The non-linear plot line allows the audience to feel, first hand, the devastating affects of dementia, through joining Fluff in her journey to uncover her life’s memories.

Teepee Productions was founded by co-writers James Piercy and Tayla Kenyon, who met online during a writing course. The two enjoyed each other’s writing and decided to work together, thus, there first creation ‘FLUFF’ was born.

Silent Men

Released to help mark International Men’s Day the previous day (Nov 19) and partnered with the UK men’s mental health charity Andy’s Man Club.

Why do so many men struggle to show their feelings?

Part therapy, part road trip, BAFTA award winning filmmaker Duncan Cowles asks men how they open up in order to directly address his own difficulties in being intimate and open with his loved ones.

With profound honesty and deadpan wit, SILENT MEN intertwines awkward conversations and the filmmaking process, asking what makes men tick, and more importantly, how to come to terms with all aspects of health, both physical and mental.

Exploring aspects of masculinity that all too often are little discussed, this film opens the door for other ways of being, communicating and healing, as well as attempting to define masculinity.

Josh Berry: Best Man

It’s clear what toxic masculinity is, but what does positive masculinity look like in a modern context?

Josh Berry intends to provide some sort of answer to this question, through his many impressions and characters, as he tells the tale of being his best friend’s best man earlier this year.

From routines on how to organise a ‘progressive stag do’, to the amusing difficulties men seem to face around positive emotional expression, the show is an opportunity for us to have a ruddy good laugh at a concept that could do with being taken a bit less seriously.

There’s also a routine about how much Josh hates runners and refuses to become one.

N.B. Josh has since entered a half marathon.
