The Comedy of Terrors!

When Jo Smith arrives for an audition with director Vyvian Jones, it turns out she’s actually been invited to the theatre by Vyvian’s twin brother Beverley, who wants her to impersonate her own twin sister Fiona, to persuade Vyvian that Beverley hasn’t had a fling with Fiona … he has, but doesn’t want Vyvian to tell his fiancee Cheryl!

And when the real Fiona turns up, not to mention Vyvian (a member of the local Sons of Satan Association, who wants to use Jo for his first human sacrifice) and Beverley and Vyvian’s identical triplet policeman brother, the stage is well and truly set for a fast-moving madcap comedy of multiple mistaken identity.

“A farcical and hilarious couple of hours … fabulous!” (Bracknell News)

“If you haven’t seen it, do. If you have, see it again; it’s just as funny and ingenious
the second time around. I was worn out with laughing by the end …
written under the influence of happy juice!” (Derbyshire Times)

The Improv Wolves performers have experience working with companies including Foghorn Unscripted, Wow Impro, Birmingham Rep and The Old Joint Stock Theatre.

Sarah Keyworth: My Eyes Are Up Here

Sarah Keyworth embarks on a world tour with a brand new, joyous show about family, acceptance and a pair of big (well, not super big) losses.

It’s been a big year for Keys (aka Sarah Keyworth). Sure, they turned thirty, got diagnosed with ADHD and had top surgery, but perhaps the biggest adjustment is to the revelation that maybe their mum was right all along? Not about everything obviously, but they must concede that on teen drinking and being “forced” to go on holiday, Keyworth Sr probably had some solid points.

On their choice to have surgery, Keys feels lucky in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to the people they have around them.  That said, it was a long road and there’s still conversations to be had about their gender identity and what this means in a world that seems increasingly hard on gender non-conforming people.

But as Sarah goes home for the first time post-surgery, to celebrate their mum’s own milestone birthday, it’s the conversations with their nearest and dearest that have them reflecting on their year and asking some big questions. What does acceptance look like? From whom does it matter? Is it OK to dance around your family kitchen with your new nipples out?

Lloyd Griffith: Baroque and Roll

New date: September 25

Fresh from supporting Jack Whitehall on his 2023 UK arena tour, comedian Lloyd Griffith is back with a brand new show ‘Baroque and Roll’. It’s a big year for Lloyd, he’s turning 40 and with it, the impending midlife crisis – or ‘renaissance’ as he’s insisting it’s called; complete with body hair removal, head hair additions, teeth whitening and obviously the obligatory half marathon sign-up.

It’ll be funny and yes, there’ll be the odd song or two from that magnificent voice of his.

As seen on Ted Lasso (Apple), Nolly (ITV), Soccer AM (RIP), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Can you beat the bookies (BBC), Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), House of Games (BBC).

‘Useful idiot’ – the guardian

‘Lloyd bounces off the audience and has everyone laughing along with him. This is an hour of uplifting stand-up that’ll have you smiling for days. A warm, relatable and hilarious show’ – The Sunday Post

Paul F Taylor: Head In The Clouds

Paul F Taylor has been a man that has always thrown himself to the gods of chaos.

Growing up; people often accused him of having his head in the clouds. With recently being diagnosed with ADHD; it’s little wonder that he’s not had his feet on the ground.

And now Paul questions his place in this world of distractions that is seemingly not built for people like him. As a new father he’s learning the hard way, having something that demands him to keep his focus, when he can’t, isn’t easy. Paul has appeared on Harry Hill’s Nite Club on Channel 4 and also the award winning BBC Radio 4 sketch show Please Use Other Door. He was nominated for best new show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2017, and won the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Award in 2013.
