Please allow yourself plenty of time to find a parking space on show nights. There are a number of public car parks nearby, with the closest being on North Walls ST16 3AD (£1 after 6pm, leave by 8am). If this is full, the next nearest car park is the Civic Centre ST16 3AQ (£1 after 6pm, leave by 8am). This is approximately a five-minute walk from the theatre. The multi-storey Waterfront car park ST16 2HQ is also now open until midnight every day (£1 after 6pm).

Alternatively, the Broad Street (ST16 2DE) or Doxey Road (ST16 2TF) car parks are less than a 10-minute walk to the theatre.

None of Stafford Borough Council’s car parks require an app. Pay By Phone is an option, as well as cash and card.

Please do not park on the Aldi car park if you intend to stay longer than two hours.

The Gatehouse Theatre is in the heart of Stafford, just seconds from the main shopping centre and central tourist attractions. It is less than 10 minutes from Junctions 13 and 14 of the M6 (just follow the theatre mask symbols on routes into the town).

The theatre is directly accessible from the town’s pedestrianised area and Market Square. Cycle racks are available outside the building. Helipads are not (apologies).
